NO 24 HOURS JAIL FOR THE VIOLATIONS OF USING MOBILE WHILE DRIVING & SEAT BELT EXCEPT SOME CASES
No Jail for the violators who violate the traffic rule by not wearing seat belt while driving or using mobile phone while driving, However there will be a fine of 150 Saudi riyals in minimum and 300 Saudi riyals in maximum. Trending : Fine for smoking while driving
Traffic department in Saudi Arabia started electronically monitoring vehicles for the violations of seat belts and mobile phones while driving. - In one of the TV Interview, The director of Information and Public relations at the General Directorate of Public Security said there will be no jail for any of these two violations like earlier, However the electronic camera and the traffic police can fine the violator from 150 SR to 300 SR depending on the violation.
