SAUDI ARABIA IS TAKING CARE OF PAKISTANI UMRAH PILGRIMS AFTER PAKISTAN CLOSED ITS AIR SPACE
Saudi Arabia's authorities have made arrangements for the Pakistani Umrah pilgrims in Makkah and Madina hotels as the Pakistan close its airspace due to the tensions with the neighboring country India. Related : Pakistan closed its air space after tensions with India
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah under the guidance of His Excellency hosting the Pakistani pilgrims till they return to home country after the suspension of all flights to Pakistan. Recommend : Saudi Arabia reduced visit visa fee for Pakistani nationals
- The Umrah agencies and establishments have been directed to provide accommodation to the Pakistani Umrah pilgrims. Those who are scheduled to depart from Jeddah are place in Makkah hotels while those who are about to travel from Madina airport are accommodated in Madina hotels.
- The Ministry said in a tweet and in a press statement to Saudi Press Agency, "A working team has been set up for this purpose". See Also : Fine for insurance fraudsters in Saudi Arabia
- The Ministry also stated that these measures are part of the directives of the Saudi leadership to provide the best ever possible services for the pilgrims as well as the Ministry's keenness on the safety and well being of the pilgrims.
