Eid Al Fitr Holidays for Public & Private sector in Saudi Arabia
Eid Al Fitr Holidays for Government or Public sector in Saudi Arabia has been started from Thursday (May 30th, 2019) and ends on the 5th day of the month of Shawwal.
The Ministry of Civil Services in Saudi Arabia announced 24th Ramadan 1440 (29th May 2019) is the last working day for the Public sector employees of Saudi Arabia.
- The holidays of Eid Al Fitr for government sector to end on Sunday (9th June 2019), which is expected to be fifth day of the month of Shawwal 1440.
- For most of the private companies, Last day of working will be 29th Ramadan (4th June) and there will be 4 days holidays for Eid Al Fitr starting from 5th June 2019.
- Some sectors in the private companies may get only two days holiday on the day of Eid Al Fitr and the next day as per their company norms. However, those who are working on the mentioned holidays are entitled to get overtime.
