MATAF AREA IS ONLY FOR TAWAF IN RAMADAN, EXCEPT 5 OBLIGATORY PRAYERS
The Emir of Makkah Province issued directives on the beginning of Ramadan 2019 (1440) that, Mataf and the other areas designed for Tawaf should be use only for Tawaf. Most Viewed : All the preparation completed for Ramadan month in Makkah and Madina Grand Mosques
The tawaf areas on the ground floor, first floor and the other floors are only for Tawaf of pilgrims.

- About 107,000 pilgrims can tawaf around the Kaaba every hour, while more than 278,000 pilgrims can pray in the Grand Mosque every hour.
- It is expected more than 10 million pilgrims perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan, Security forces have completed their preparation for the safety and to provide the services of Umrah season this Ramadan including to allow pilgrims to perform their rituals safety and with ease.
