EID AL ADHA LIKELY TO BEGIN ON AUG 21st IN SAUDI ARABIA
Second biggest eid of Muslims, Eid Al Adha (Bakrid) would likely to begin on August 21st in Saudi Arabia and UAE for this year 2018, According to the prediction of the UAE astronomer. Related : The blessed day of Arafat
Based on the astronomical calculations Arafat Day would fall on 20th August and Eid Al Adha will be on 21st August as per the statement of Sharjah Planetarium deputy director Ebrahim Al Jarwan to Gulf News. Recommend : Kiswah the black cloth of Kaaba
- Dhu Al Hijjah is the last month of Hijri calendar, and its 9th day is Arafat day, where all Hajis will reach Mount Arafat and the 10th day of this month will be Eid Al Adha every year, After this month a new Hijri year will start.
- During Eid Al Adha, Muslims sacrifice an animal and divide it into 3 parts, where the first part is for family, second part is for relatives, friends and neighbours and the third part is for poor and needy people. Similar : Public holidays in Saudi Arabia
- As Eid Al Adha is expected to fall on 21st August, It is likely for private sectors to get 2 to 4 days holidays depending on the company norms, starting from 9th day (Arafat day) to Eid three days.
