SAUDI ARABIA'S KING EXTENDED EID AL FITR HOLIDAYS

SAUDI ARABIA'S KING SALMAN ISSUED A DIRECTIVE ON EXTNDING EID AL FITR HOLIDAYS

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued a directive to extend this year's 2018 (1439) Eid Al Fitr holiday, according to the report of Saudi Press Agency (SPA). Most Viewed : Eid Al Fitr would be on June 15th this year 2018




All the civil and military employees in the government sector will receive around a fulll week off to mark the holidays of Eid, which falls at the end of Ramadan. Trending : Saudi bans outdoor workers from work under hot sun

- The exact date of Eid Al Fitr has yet to be announced but as per the Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE astronomers, Eid Al Fitr may fall on June 15th, of this year 2018.




- As Friday and Saturday are already weekend holidays in the Kingdom, the directive appears intended to ensure this year's Eid vacation is not shortened. Recommend : Saudi Arabia blocked 1.2 million websites and links

- The holidays for public sector will start from June 15th (Friday) and will end on June 23rd (Saturday) and Sunday (June 24th) will be working day for all government staff.
