SAUDI ARABIA'S SUPREME COURT CALLED FOR SIGHTING OF SHAWWAL MOON ON THURSDAY (29th RAMADAN 2018)
The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has called for the sighting of the crescent month of Shawal this year 1439, on the evening of Thursday 29th of Ramadan. Related : Eid Al Fitr would be on June 15th
This was stated in a declaration of the Court which reads as follows from Saudi Press Agency (SPA):

In accordance with the decision of the Supreme Court decision No. 108 (29/8/1439) from the month of Ramadan on Thursday, 2/9/1439 E, "according to the Umm al-Qura calendar", the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia wishes all the Muslims throughout the kingdom to see crescent of the month of Shawal on Thursday night (29th Ramadan 1439).
The Supreme Court asks those who see the moon with the naked eye or by use of binoculars to report to the nearest court, record his testimony, or contact the nearest center to help him reach the nearest court. See Also : Jawazat to remain open on Eid holidays
The court hopes that those who have the ability to pay attention to the matter, join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, and calculate pay and reward by participating in it for the cooperation on land and piety, and the beneficial benefit to all Muslims.
