OVERSTAYING ON HAJJ VISA IS A VIOLATION, VIOLATORS WILL FACE HEAVY PENALTIES
Jawazat calls all the foreign Hajj pilgrims to leave Saudi Arabia before the expiry of their Hajj visas. Overstaying on a Hajj visa is a violation and violators will face strict actions. Read : Makkah mobile users made 24.4 million calls
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Hajj pilgrims are not allowed to move outside the holy sites of Makkah and Madinah in addition to Jeddah or engage in any parts of the Kingdom. See Also : Number of pilgrims arrived for Hajj in 2018
- Hajj Pilgrims are allowed to stay till the expiry date of their Hajj visa after which they should return to their own or home country without facing any strict terms and penalties.
- Citizens and expatriates of Saudi Arabia should not extend any kind of support to the over stayers. Those who support the over stayers by giving them transportation, shelter or jobs will have to face penalties and fines. Most Viewed : Man arrested for attempting for opening the Kaaba door
- Hajj service providing companies, establishments and agencies should ensure the departure of the pilgrims within the stipulated period of time mentioned in the Hajj visa.
