First day of Eid Al Fitr to celebrate on 4th June 2019 in Saudi Arabia
The crescent for the month of Shawwal has been sighted. Saudi Arabia will observe the first day of Eid Ul Fitr (1 Shawwal 1440) on Tuesday, 4th June 2019. The month of Ramadan will end tonight with 29 fasts.
The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia officially announced that the first day of Eid Al Fitr is on 4th June 2019 (Tuesday). United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Palestine and Iraq also announced the first day of Eid will be on Tuesday (4th June, 2019).
- Eid Al Fitr moon is not sighted in Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, Jordan, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand on 3rd June 2019, hence they will celebrate Eid on 5th June and 4th June will be fasting day.
- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has sighted the hilal crescent, confirmed the officials of Haramain. Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated in KSA on Tuesday, June 4.
