Saudi Expats remittances dropped by 9% in April compared to last year
The overall remittances sent home countries by expatriates has dropped by 9% in April 2019 with 10.72 billion Saudi Riyals compared to the last year's 11.72 billion Saudi Riyals in April of the year 2018. As per the latest statistics released by SAMA (Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency), remittances sent by expatriates dropped by 998 million Saudi Riyals last April compared to March 2019, when expatriates sent 11.26 billion Saudi Riyals. - While the remittances from Saudi citizens abroad rose by 2.4% last month April, compared to stand at 5 billion Saudi Riyals up from 4.94 billion Saudi Riyals.
