Statue of Liberty installed at Jeddah's Al Hamra Corniche in Saudi Arabia
A statue same like the 'Statue of Liberty (American symbol of freedom)' is installed at Jeddah's beachfront Al Hamra Corniche, Its became viral on social media on July 4th as its America's Independence Day.
According to the Jeddah Municipality the statue same like the Statue of Liberty is installed temporarily to celebrate an American cultural event as part of ongoing Jeddah festival.
- Videos and Photos of the replica of Statue of Liberty at Jeddah became viral on social media, The sculpture is temporary and it serves the purpose of sharing American heritage to visitors.
- The statue will be removed once the festival is finished, its a part of temporary event and it will be removed as soon as it ends. While one of the local media said it is installed only for one week for the purpose of American heritage to entertain the Tourists all over the world including USA.
- The original sculpture of Liberty in New York Harbour in USA was a gift from France to United States. It was designed by French sulptor and its metal framework, The statue dedicated to America on October 28, 1886.
