Illegal Expatriates of 5 African countries can now leave Saudi Arabia without settling their Dues
Grace period of 3 months for expatriates of 5 African countries (Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Nigeria and Chad) living in Saudi Arabia, Leave the Kingdom without setting dues of Jawazat fees, fines and traffic violations. Authorities in Saudi Arabia are now allowing expats of 5 African countries to leave without paying any dues to the government reported Saudi Gazette. This advantage is available only in the amnesty period of 3 months.
- For now this new measure will be for the expats of Ethiopia, Eriteria, Somalia, Nigeria and Chad living in Makkah region, it will be extended to other regions soon in the coming days.
- However, The sources revealed that the dues of such deportee expatriates will be recorded and they need to pay it in case they want to return to Saudi Arabia in future, with the help of National Information Center, which is the technical support of Jawazat.
- The adviser at The Ethiopian Consulate said they received the instructions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this regard, and they are making arrangements for the deportation. See Also : Deportation of Illegal Hajj pilgrims with 10 years ban
- As per the sources, The Ethiopian side will issue travel documents and flight tickets and other documents for its citizens prior to their deportation. Nearly 200 documents will be issued per day in Makkah region.
