Saudi Arabia halts Prayer in courtyards of Holy Mosques Makkah and Madina
Saudi Arabia halted entering and praying in the outer courtyards of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madina, especially on Friday, As part of the efforts to contain the coronavirus, said The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Affairs spokesman.
The authority and the security and health agencies decided to halt all the presence of people and prayer in the outer courtyards of the Grand Mosques in Makkah and the Prophet's Holy Mosque in Madina starting from March 20 (Friday), as part of precautionary measures.
- Saudi Arabia's King Salman said in his address to the nation, "Your Nation 'The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia' continues to take all precautionary measures to confront this pandemic and limit its effects. Wed depend on the aid of Allah Almighty, then on deploying our full capabilities, supported by your strong determination to face adversities with steadfastness of believers at the forefront".
