Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti announces Ramadan Taraweeh, Eid prayers to be held at Home during Coronavirus

According to the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Sheikh of Saudi Arabia, Ramadan Taraweeh and all prayers including Eid prayers should be pray at home as it will not be held in mosques during Coronavirus pandemic as per the report of Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The Holy Month for Muslims Ramadan 2020 (1441 H) is expected to begin in a week and the announcement was made on Friday from the Kingdom's Grand Mufti. If the pandemic continues through holy month, Eid-Al-Fitr should be pray at home.

- The announcement is in accordance with the precautionary measures implemented to slow the spread of the deadly novel Coronavirus (Covid-19). Most Viewed : Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education promoted all students to next class due to Coronavirus

- Most of the Muslim countries announced the prayers should be suspended at Mosques during coronavirus to combat the spread of the Corona virus disease in the country.




- Saudi Arabia has also requested all Muslims around the world to delay their plans for the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages this year due to uncertainties surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic said the Minister of hajj and Umrah. 

- Health Ministry of Saudi Arabia, Today announced 762 new corona cases, bringing total to 7142 infections in the Kingdom with 87 deaths and 1049 recoveries as of now. Related : Saudi Arabia recovered 1049 cases from 7142 total Corona infections
