Crescent not Sighted, Saudi Arabia to celebrate Eid-Al-Fitr on Sunday, 24th May
The crescent of Shawwal month is not sighted in many areas of Saudi Arabia, The observatory in the city of Tamir reported crescent moon not sighted, Hence the Ramadan month to continue for another day and Eid Al Fitr to celebrate on Sunday, 24th May 2020.
The observatory of Al Majmaah University in Hotat Sudair said the crescent moon not sighted, As per the scientific calculation moon was set before the sunset, Hence the moon is not visible Today, It can be seen Tomorrow. Hence this year 1441, Ramadan to complete its 30 days.
- The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia decided this year Ramadan will complete 30 days and Saturday is the fasting day, as the moon was not sighted from any part of the the Kingdom. So, 24th May, Sunday will be the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
