Lifting isolation measures from Al Atheer and Applying isolation to 2nd Industrial city in Dammam
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has informed that lifting additional precautionary measures previously announced in Al Atheer neighborhood of Dammam from 3rd May 2020 and implementing additional health precautionary measures to isolate the 2nd industrial city in Dammam and prevent entry or exit from it from 3rd May 2020 until further notice, As per the source the following was decided. First : Lifting additional precautionary measures previously announced on 15th Apirl 2020, in Al-Atheer district in Dammam city from Sunday, 3rd May 2020, and the residents of the district are still allowed to go out to meet their needs from 9 AM to 5 PM, as well as the continuation of the work of the excluded activities and the implementation of the precautionary health preventive measures previously announced. Second : Applying additional health precautionary measures by isolating the second industrial city of Dammam and preventing entry into it or exit from it from Sunday, 3rd May 2020 until further notice with the exception of freight and goods transport.
Third : Allowing the operation of vital factories within the second industrial city with one third of its capacity, and the entry of managers, engineers and workers in it, and not leaving the industrial city.
The Ministry stressed that these measures were taken within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to preserve the public health by preventing the spread of the Coronavirus, which are subject to continuous evaluation with the relevant health authorities. The Ministry also called on everyone to be responsible by following the isolation measures in order to achieve the public interest.
