Registration of Awdah Initiative is available for All Countries Expats who wish to return to their Home - Jawazat
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia announced that registration is available to all nationalities in the “Awdah” initiative that was launched recently, for those who wish to return to their home countries by air travel after holding (Exit and Re-Entry, final exit, All kinds of visit visa and Tourist visa). The Ministry of Interior indicated that this initiative can be used by entering the “Awdah (return)” icon from the “Absher” electronic services platform, and filling the following fields: (Iqama or border number - date of birth - mobile number - departure city - arrival airport), indicating that Absher account is not required in order to obtain and facilitate the residents to benefit from the initiative service. The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the departure of the beneficiaries will be through the following airports after the approval of the their countries to allow the reception of their nationals.
- King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah
- King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh
- King Fahd International Airport in Dammam and
- Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah
It is noteworthy that this initiative is carried out in cooperation with a number of government agencies like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the National Information Center, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and Saudi Arabian Airlines in addition to the security sectors like Directorate of Public Security, The Directorate General of Passports, the Directorate General of Prisons, and the General Administration for Expatriate Affairs and Ministry of Interior.
