Special PIA flights takes 500 stranded Pakistani Nationals back Home

The first repatriation special flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Riyadh carrying 250 stranded Pakistanis to Islamabad left King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh at 1 AM on 1st May 2020. While speaking to the passenger at the time of departure, The Ambassador reiterated that the Pakistan government is taking all possible measures for the welfare, safe and early return of its citizens from all over the world including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. - The second special flight of PIA PK 8710 carrying 250 stranded Pakistani nationals departed from Jeddah to Lahore on the same day at 14:30 PM. The Consul General of Pakistan and Deputy General of Pakistan saw off the passengers at the airport.




- About 13,000 Pakistani nationals struck in Saudi Arabia after the cancellation of international flights, All of them are either on final exit visas or short term visas, The government of Pakistan is arranging special flights from their return to their home country Pakistan. - The returning Pakistani nationals thanked the prime minister, foreign minister and special advisor to the prime minister on Overseas Pakistanis for arranging repatriation flights on their homeland.
