There is No Harm of Radiation emitted from 5G Technology - Ministry of Communications & IT
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Saudi Arabia announced the safety of using electromagnetic waves on the human body and the health and environmental effects of modern radio communication waves, including fifth Generation (5G) networks reports SPA. The Ministry Confirms that the overview of the results of medical studies and research collected until the time of preparing the report indicates that there is no correlation or scientific evidence to prove health effects or general risks to human health and the environment by radio electromagnetic waves, and that more studies are being conducted around the world by relevant organizations.
- The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology pointed out that the electromagnetic radiation emitted by radio waves used in wireless communications for the 5G technology will not exceed the levels of electromagnetic radiation of the current 4G technology. - The fifth generation networks aim to provide high speed and low latency factor to support the increasing demand for communication services all over the world.
- Saudi Arabia ranks 3rd globally and 1st in the MENA (Middle East, Europe and North Africa region) in the deployment of 5G networks as the Kingdom install about 5,797 towers in around 30 cities, as per the report of Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
