Arab Coalition intercepted and destroyed Ballistic Missile over Najran
The Arab Coalition in Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed a ballistic misslile on Tuesday (16th June) launched by Houthi militia towards Najran targeting civilians.
The missile was launched from the Yemeni city of Saadah said the coalition spokesman Col. Turki Al Maliki reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
He revealed that, The Iran-backed militants have targeted Saudi Arabia with 313 ballistic missiles and 357 drones in total. The Coalition said it would take rigorous measures to stop attacks on Saudi Arabia after intercepting drones towards Asir region of the Kingdom.
- The militants have targeted similar attack on Saturday earlier on Najran and the coalition intercepted and destroyed it. The Coalition also destroyed a bomb-laden aircraft launched towards Khamis Mushait targeting civilians.
- Earlier, Saudi Arabian Military Industries said it was working on developing a counter-drone system to protect Saudi Arabia's vital infrastructure and military bases.
