Video : Coronavirus can be Transmitted through BankNotes, How to stop it
A public health and infection control specialist said that the new corona virus can be transmitted to people through cash or paper money, As the virus remains for nearly 24 hours on the money.
Dr. Shaden Fayaz explained that if the money was with an infected person or a carrier of the virus, it might pass to others, but the transmission of the virus to the hand does not mean that the person is infected, It is possible that the person can wash his hand or sterilize it after touching the money or avoid infection by wearing gloves.
- She further said that when the virus comes out in droplets from the infected person, it remains in air for about 3 hours, but it will not transmitted to people through air, but rather lands on surfaces and is transmitted by touching the surfaces.
- She added, the danger of a person sharing a hookah with others, stating that the hookah or shisha does not sterilize and the virus may spread through the hookah, if the infected person uses it.
