Saudi Arabia unearths 24 Artifacts in Makkah while digging near Ma'alla Cemetry

Saudi Arabia has unearthed 24 artifacts in Makkah, while carrying out digging operations by the contractor of the smart car parking project near the Ma'alla Cemetry in the Holy Capital. Recommend : Six conditions for issuing Final Exit Visa through Absher




The secretariat of Makkah said that the 24 artifacts which was found while digging were handed over to the Ministry of Tourism, In the presence of the Secretary of the Holy Capital Eng. Muhammad Al Quhis and the Secretary General of the Tourism Development Council of Makkah Dr. Hisham Madani. Recommend : Jawazat announces Fine for delaying iqama renewals

- According to the spokesperson of Secretariat of the Holy Capital, the antiquities found included engraved inscriptions on archaeological tombstones and ancient antiquities written in Arabic calligraphy, some of dates back to 655 Hijri or 1257 AD.
