Automatic Extensions of Iqamas and Exit Re-Entry Visas of Expats - Jawazat
Iqama of those expatriates who are outside Saudi Arabia will automatically be extended as per the announcement of Jawazat in Saudi Arabia as benefiting from a recent royal decree.
The Royal decree from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman also ordered to extend the validity of expired expired exit re-entry visas of expatriates who are abroad for 3 months without any charge.
- The Jawazat officials would coordinate with the National Information Center, an affiliate the Ministry of Interior for the automatic extension of expats iqama without need to apply for it.
- The Saudi Arabia's government has issued several directives including the categories of exempted from fees and fines covering expatriates with valid iqamas who left Saudi Arabia on exit re-entry visas, but cannot come back and their iqamas have expired said Jawazat.
- The exempted categories includes expats who hold exit re-entry visas or final exit visas but could not use them as well as foreigners who came to Saudi Arabia on visit visas or business visas but could not leave the Kingdom.
