Completion of Automatic Extension of Exit Re-Entry visas for Expats outside Saudi Arabia - Jawazat
Jawazat in Saudi Arabia announced that it has completed automatic extensions of exit re-entry visas of expatriates, who are outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 3 months without any charge or cost. See Also : Jawazat extending Visit visas validity for 3 months for free
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) on its Twitter account revealed that the beneficiaries of this are those expats who are outside the Kingdom and whose exit and re-entry visas expired after the suspension of international flights. - The new arrangement has done with the help of National Information Center (NIC) said the Jawazat. Meanwhile, The Absher of the Interior Ministry said that the extension of the period of exit re-entry visa will is also applicable for family members of expatriates and domestic workers.
- The conditions for this benefit is that the person should be outside of Saudi Arabia and his or her iqama validity should covers the extension period and the other condition is that the expiry of exit and re-entry visas should not exceed more than 60 days. - The procedures for the extension of exit and re-entry visas include payment of visa fees through a bank account with 100 SR for single visa and 200 SR for multiple visa for each month extension. Th concerned person should log into Absher portal and choose the service for the sponsee, then visa services and choose the individual and then the option to extend the visa.
