Fines on 216 people in Makkah for violating Corona Precautions
Major Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, media spokesman for the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region police, announced that the penalties of 1000 SR on each imposed on 216 violators for violating the measures in combat the spread of the new Corona virus.
He said that the violators were fined 1,000 riyals on each as they did not wear face masks.
Al-Ghamdi said, “According to the recommendations of the committee to consider violations of the provisions and precautionary penalties to confront the pandemic of the new Corona virus, the penalties established for violations of precautionary measures and preventive measures taken by the concerned authorities to confront the pandemic against 216 violators have been imposed. For not wearing masks, by fining each of them an amount of 1,000 riyals.
