Forced Beggary, Labor will lead in 10 Years Jail and 1 Million fine in Saudi Arabia
Forced labor and beggary comes under crimes of human trafficking and the offender will be punishable by a maximum of 10 years jail term or a penalty of maximum 1 million riyals or both announced the Public Prosecution of Saudi Arabia. The penalties are as per the Articles II and III of the Law on combating Human Trafficking Crimes reports Saudi Press Agency (SPA). - These laws are to protect the human rights, Saudi Arabia is harnessing all its human and material potentials in order to achieve this lofty and noble goal said the statement as per the report of Saudi Gazette.
- Under the measures taken by Saudi Arabia in this regard are,
* Enacting legislations and laws regulating the rights and duties of expats and workers.
* Enacting penal laws ensuring the protection of anyone from falling victim to the crime of trafficking in persons and determining the deterrent punishment for those committing these crimes.

- This is in solidarity with the international partners to tackle all forms of trafficking and exploitation of persons in any form. The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia seeks to ensure the rights and guarantees of victims of 'trafficking in persons' crimes.
