Iqama of the domestic worker expired after extension of 3 months, What to do? Jawazat responds
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia through its official twitter account explained the mechanism for renewing iqama for domestic workers, if it expires after extending it for a period of 3 months.
One of the Saudi citizen inquired on the official Jawazat account, saying: “I have a private driver outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the extension has been made for him for three months by royal order, and now the extension has expired. - Jawazat in Saudi Arabia confirmed in response that, in the event that the beneficiary of domestic workers, iqama identity card will be automatically extended, which ends during the period of suspension of entry and exit from the Kingdom, gradually in coordination with the National Information Center (NIC) without the need for review.
