Ministry of Education terminates all Expats Principals and orders to appoint Saudis in Private and International Schools

The Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia has decided to terminate the expatriate principals of private and international schools across the Kingdom, the decision to be implemented from 11th August 2020. Trending : Makkah Clock Tower Museum attracts Tourists




The Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asami has issued a circular to all the educational institutions of private and international schools to implement the decision of dismissing expatriate principals and appoint eligible Saudi Nationals as their principals or headmasters. - The Ministry reveals the decision is approved and the investors were informed of this regulation. In 2019, The Saudi government has issued new regulations to meet the goals of National Policy and Saudi Vision 2030, planning to modernize the key institutions.




- Saudi Arabia also allowed private schools to build 3 story buildings in stead of 2 to expand curricular and extra curricular activities. See Also : World Heritage sites in g20 Countries

- As per the National policy, The allocation of 1 square meter of space in the school for each student is mandatory, while the distance required in schools has been abolished.
