Fire of the Amad Mountain in Taif is under control, No injuries reported
The media spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Colonel Muhammad Al-Qarni, explained that the fire of the "Amad" mountain fire in Maysan south of Taif is under control and in decreasing and in a limited area.
The fire broke out early Wednesday morning, in light of the stability of the weather conditions and the decrease in the intensity of the winds at the site. No causalities have been reported so far.

- He indicated that the area where the fire broke out is mountainous with very rugged heights, as the civil defense teams carried out isolation and cordon operations throughout the fire so that it did not spread further, stressing that the site was not inhabited, and no injuries were recorded, praise be to God.

- Amad Mountain rises more than two thousand feet above sea level and is famous for its juniper trees. It is home to large numbers of livestock. The area is also called for other tourist attractions, like Hathwa’ parks and Al-Barda.
