Gradual resumption of Umrah soon, Some categories of Expats to return Saudi Arabia from 15th Sep
Saudi Arabia to reveal a plan soon on gradually resuming Umrah visits, based on Coronavirus developments going forward, as per the official source of Ministry of Interior.
The announcement came following the royal order issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Saudi Arabia's King Salman Today on lifting all exit, entry restrictions on citizens and residents, as well as reopening of land, sea and air ports from Jan 1, 2021. - The government temporarily suspended Umrah visits for nationals and residents in late February over Covid-19 fears.
- Some categories of citizens and expatriate residents to exit and re-enter Saudi Arabia through all land, sea and airports from Tuesday, 15th September, given that all the precautionary measures of Covid-19 must be followed.

- GCC citizens and Expatriate residents will be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia with work visa, residence visa or visit visas, but, they must stick and follow to the Covid-19 related health measures.
