Jail term and Fine for the Offenders of Saudi Flag - Public Prosecution
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia confirmed that it will punish anyone who has dropped or insulted the national flag of the Kingdom or any other emblem of it, with imprisonment or a fine, or with both punishments.
The Public Prosecution said, “The Kingdom’s flag and the royal flag are appreciated and respected by all, and the martyrdom (there is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God) is mediated by a drawn sword. Most Viewed : Saudi Arabia's flag never Half-Mast or lowered even at Mourning
- The royal flag matches the national flag in its descriptions and is embroidered in the lower corner of it adjacent to the flag stick, With gilded silk strings.
- The prosecution also added that “Whoever drops, executed, or insulted, in any way, the national flag, the royal flag, or any other emblem of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or one of the friendly foreign countries, disliking or contempt for the authority of the government or those countries, publicly or in a public place or in an open place.
