 Jawazat extending the validity of Iqamas, Re-Entry and Final Exit Visas for Expats, who are outside and inside Saudi Arabia

Jawazat in Saudi Arabia has announced the decisions to extend the expired iqamas (Residence permits), exit re-entry visas and final exit visas for expatriates who are outside and inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) said it will automatically extend the expired iqamas of expatriates for 1 month without any cost from the date of its expiry for those who are outside Saudi Arabia on exit re-entry visa and on commercial professions and to those whose iqamas expired during the period 1st August to 30th August 2020. - The validity of the expired iqamas (Residence permits) will be extended for domestic workers for 1 month without any cost to those who are outside Saudi Arabia and having exit re-entry visas and their extension period has expired, so that the validity of the iqama and visa will be extended till 30th September.

- The validity of exit re-entry visas will be automatically extended to expatriates who are outside Saudi Arabia and who are commercial workers, and for those whose iqama is valid, without any fee, for those whose extension period has expired until 30th September. - Exit re-entry visas and final exit visa will be automatically extended to all expatriates who are inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that were not used during the period of suspension of entries and exits from Kingdom, free of charge for those whose extension period expired till 30th September.
