The Shoura Council of Saudi Arabia is about to discuss a proposal to amend Article 26/2 of the Saudi Labor Law, about determining the ratio of Saudi nationals working in the private sector companies, with a focus on Saudization of 75% on the managerial positions.
The amendment was a proposal from 2 council members with a clause that this step will urge business owners and board of directors to develop plans to attract, qualify and direct Saudi youth (men and women) and build their professional capabilities within a specified period of time.
