Umrah pilgrimage to resume from October 4th, 1st phase for limited Domestic pilgrims
Saudi Arabia issued an approval for allowing to perform Umrah pilgrimage and visit gradually with the necessary health precautionary measures, as per the specific arrangements and phases.
1st phase: Allowing citizens and residents to perform Umrah from inside the Kingdom, starting from Sunday, 4th October 2020, at a rate of 30% (6,000 pilgrims per day) of the capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque.
2nd phase : Allowing to Perform Umrah, visiting and prayers for citizens and residents from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, starting from Sunday, 18th October 2020, at a rate of 75% (15,000 pilgrims per day, 40,000 worshipers per day) of the capacity that takes into account Health precautionary measures for the Grand Mosque, with 75% of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures for the honorable kindergarten in the Prophet's Mosque.
3rd phase: Allowing the performance of Umrah, visiting and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside the Kingdom, starting from Sunday, November 1, 2020, until the official announcement of the end of the Corona pandemic or the disappearance of the danger, and that is 100% (20,000 pilgrims per day, 60,000 worshipers per day) of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures of the Grand Mosque, and 100% of the absorptive capacity that takes into account the health precautionary measures of the Prophet's Mosque, and the arrival of pilgrims and visitors from outside the Kingdom gradually, and from countries that decide the Ministry of Health after the absence of health risks related to the Corona pandemic.
4th phase: Allowing the performance of Umrah, visiting and prayers for citizens and residents from inside and outside the Kingdom, at 100% of the natural capacity of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, when the competent authority decides to eliminate the risks of the pandemic.
The entry of pilgrims, worshipers and visitors is regulated through the application (Umrahna), which will be launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, with the aim of enforcing the health standards and controls approved by the Ministry of Health and the competent authorities.

He affirmed the Kingdom's keenness to empower the pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom.
