Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia orders the arrest of an Expat in Makkah, Who bound and tortured his Child with whip
An official source in the Public Prosecution of Saudi Arabia confirmed that, based on what was monitored in the Parliamentary Monitoring Center of someone tying a child and assaulting and hitting her with a whip, the Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujib was instructed to initiate a criminal case against him.
Accordingly, the identity of the aforementioned was determined and it became clear that he was an expatriate residing in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, so he was arrested after verifying that he was the one in charge of the procedure, the investigation procedures were initiated against him and the order for his arrest. - The source explained that the child has criminal protection represented in the prohibition of abuse and violence, in accordance with the child protection and protection from harm systems.

- The media spokesperson for the Makkah Region Police, Major Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, stated that he is referring to the video clip circulating on social media, for someone who restricts and attacks a child, and documents it for this by photographing and publishing it, as the competent authority was able to identify and arrest him, who is a resident of the 4th decade from his age, it became clear that he was the father of the child who appeared in the clip, and he was arrested and all legal procedures were taken against him and referred to the Public Prosecution branch.
