Saudi Arabia to give 500,000 SR to the families of Health Workers who died from Corona virus
Saudi Arabia decided to grant 500,000 Riyals as financial assistance to the families of front-line health workers who lost their lives from the Corona virus (Covid-19) while serving patients, as per the decision of Saudi Arabia's cabinet chaired by King Salman.
This grant will apply to all the healthcare workers who died while working in Saudi Arabia both private or public sectors, civilian or military, it applies to Saudi nationals and expatriates. Trending : Saudi Arabia is set to abolish Kafala system
- The decision applies from 31st March 2020 (7th Shaban 1441), when the first infection of a health worker was reported in Saudi Arabia after the outbreak of Corona virus pandemic.
- An amount of 500,000 riyals as financial assistance will be disbursed to the families of the deceased due to corona virus pandemic. This assistance will cover both civilian and military personnel working in the government or private health sectors.
