Saudi Arabia ranked 6th as Safest Travel Destination in World, Only one in Middle East countries
The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah confirmed the tight control over the "emerging Covid-19", stating that the number of Corona infections are declining.
Al-Rabiah through its Twitter said, “Praise be to God, we are still controlling the virus (Covid-19) in the Kingdom; We are seeing a decrease in the number of infections.
- He credit this to "the unlimited support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, then the awareness and commitment of society," highlighting the need to "continue commitment until the announcement of the last case, God willing." - The minister published an infographic on Saudi Arabia's holding 6th rank, as the safest travel destination among the countries in the world, in light of the Corona pandemic, and the only one among the Middle East countries.
- The Kingdom ranked this advanced in the world, as per the article published on the Wego Travel Blog entitled "Safe places to travel during the (Covid 19) pandemic."
- The classification adopts common European Union standards to harmonize travel restrictions.
- The classification methodology was based on epidemiological criteria, in terms of the ability of countries to contain the pandemic, achieve stability over a long period of time, and the efficiency of the health system, in terms of the availability of clinical capacity for intensive care rooms, and medical staff to care for patients. - It also relied on monitoring and follow-up in terms of expanding (Covid-19) testing, monitoring and isolating the infected cases.
