 21 Expats violators arrested for violating Labor and Residency regulations in Riyadh


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh region announced the arrest of 21 violators of the labor and residency regulations, most of them are domestic workers who work for non-employers, this week.



- The Ministry of Labor in Riyadh confirmed that the necessary measures were taken against them and referred them to the administration of Expatriates Department in preparation for their deportation. 

- The Inspection teams also monitored 19 violations and warnings that included the lack of medical insurance for Saudis, the employment of domestic workers, in addition to working for a private account in transporting goods outside the stores. - These violations came into light during the joint inspection campaigns carried out by the Riyadh Labor Office, which resulted in more than 40 separate field visits on the sites of old Haraj bin Qasim, Al-Thumairi markets, and another site of south Riyadh.

- The branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of Riyadh region called on all Saudi citizens to cooperate and report violations through the "Together Monitoring" application. See Also : Expats living in Saudi Arabia must not do this as per Saudi rules

- As the reports will be dealt with immediately, in order to improve and develop and control the labor market environment. Violations can also be reported by calling the unified customer service on 19911.
