Abu Dhabi welcomes International Tourists from specified list of Green Countries
Starting 24th December, Abu Dhabi to welcome back the international tourists designated from Green countries as part of wider easing of Covid-19 restrictions announced the Emirate's Media Government Office.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office said, following the successes achieved by implementing precautionary measures in order to curb the spread of Corona virus and maintaining a low infection rate. The list of Green countries for the next 2 weeks are
1. Australia
2. Brunei
3. China
4. Greece
5. Greenland
6. Hong Kong
7. Malaysia
8. Mauritius
9. New Zealand
10. Saudi Arabia Read : No coronavirus Strains detected in Saudi Arabia so far
11. Singapore
12. Taiwan
13. Tajikistan
14. Thailand
15. Uzbekistan
16. Vietnam
- However, International travelers must need to present PCR negative certificate within 96 Hours of their scheduled departure and take a 2nd PCR test after entering into Abu Dhabi.
- Green Countries classifications will be reviewed every 2 weeks, Travelers from Green countries allowed to enter into Abu Dhabi after negative report, while travelers from other than Green countries to isolate for 10 days.
- All travelers must take a PCR test on day 6 of entry into Abu Dhabi for those staying for 6 consecutive days or more, and on day 12 for those staying for 12 consecutive days or more. Trending : Dubai to start Coronavirus Vaccination from 23rd December
- The emirate also eased some coronavirus restrictions on entry from neighboring emirates and updated precautionary measures of some economic, tourism and entertainment activities which include shopping and entertainment centers, restaurants and nurseries reports Al Arabiya.
