Emirates, Etihad and Air Arabia suspends its flights to Saudi Arabia until further notice
Emirates, Etihad and Air Arabia suspended its flights to Saudi Arabia until further notice after Saudi Arabia announcement of suspending all international flights for one week over a new mutant coronavirus strain.
Etihad Airways spokesperson announced that it will immediately suspend all passenger flights between Abu Dhabi and all destinations that reach them in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, temporarily, and until further notice.
The company Etihad, which is based in Abu Dhabi Airport of United Arab Emirates (UAE), said in a statement today that this precautionary measure has been taken to limit the spread of the new mutant Corona virus (Covid-19) strain. Trending : Saudi Arabia suspends all international flights for 1 week
- The Airline said, The safety of its customers and crew in Etihad's highest priority and we regret any inconvenience the suspension may cause.
- Dubai based Emirates posted on its website that, "Due to closure of borders as directed by Saudi authorities, Emirates will be suspending flights to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until further notice". We regret any inconvenience caused, affected customers should contact their travel agent or Emirates contact center for rebooking options.
