Extending the suspension of International Flights and Entry to the Kingdom for another Week
The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has stated that, following the statement issued on 20th December 2020, Concerning the spread of a new mutated type of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) in a number of countries, and the precautionary measures decided in this regard.
Suspending international flights for travelers except in exceptional cases, temporarily for a week, which can be extended for another week, and the entry is suspended in to the Kingdom through the air, land and sea ports temporarily for one week, it can be extended for another week. - In order to continue evaluate the situation for another week, and to ensure that the public health of Saudi citizens and resident expats is protected and their safety.
- The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to extend the work of the earlier mentioned procedures for another week, excluding the movement of goods, commodities and supply chains, as well as permitting the departure Non-Saudis from the territory of the Kingdom, through flights, according to the precautionary measures decided by the Ministry of Health.
