Pfizer Corona Virus Vaccine is not Mandatory for Everyone
The use of Pfizer-BioNTech Corona virus vaccine recently approved by Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is not mandatory said a health official Dr. Mazen Hassanain, Managing Director of the SaudiVax Pharmaceuticals company.
He also said the anxiety over the vaccine is natural as so many people likely for the first time are closely following the developments with regard to the production, clinical trials and side effects of the vaccine.

- Hassanein stated this on a Saudi news channel Al-Ekhbariya, He said the administration of the Corona vaccine will follow the same process as it done in cases of other vaccines, like research, clinical trials and side effects and it is going to continue even after the vaccine arrives in Saudi Arabia and given to citizens and residents.
- SFDA will analyze samples of each vaccine shipment before using it to make sure of its quality, and this is one of the authority's established procedures and its not new.

- Dr. Hassanain added that, The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is undoubtedly safe, but we should admit that there is worry among the people. The authencity of the information regarding the storage of the vaccine at certain temperature inside special refrigerators.
- Saudi authorities have said that the Corona vaccine will be made available to everyone in the Kingdom as the Pfizer vaccine is expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia in next few days and will be distributed in stages.
