Saudi Arabia safest Country among G20 Nations as per Global report
Saudi Arabia has ranked first among Group20 (G20) nations as safest country, leaving back the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council, as per the two reports of international indicators.
The latest rankings was based on 5 global security indicators included in the Global Competitiveness Report 2019 and the Sustainable Development Goals Index 2020 (SDG Index 2020).
- The SDG Index 2020 ranked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia first among G20 nations, before the five permanent UN Security Council members, in the percentage of population who feel safe walking alone at night. Read : General Authority of Zakat and Tax defines exemptions from Residential rent Tax
- The Kingdom also performed better than China and Canada within the G20 nations and China and the United States among the five permanent UN Security Council members.
- Saudi Arabia also ranks first in the reliability of police service index, an indicator that measures public confidence in law enforcement and its success in achieving order and safety.

- Last week, Saudi Arabia has ranked 6th as safest country to travel based on Covid-19 criteria, as per Wego Travel's Corona virus Country Risk Assessment.
- Saudi Arabia's energetic steps forward to diversify the Kingdom economy, with expectations of growth in the non-oil sector. The report also discussed the emergence of more investments outside the mining industry within the public and private sectors in next few years.
