Conditions for reporting 'Absent from Work' for Domestic Workers in Absher
Absher platform in Saudi Arabia has reminded of the terms and conditions for using the absentee (Huroob) reporting service for domestic workers as one of its electronic services.
Conditions for reporting absenteeism of domestic workers :
The Absher platform explained that this service allows individuals registered and activated on the “Absher” portal to report the absence of their domestic workers from work. Here are the basic conditions necessary to be able to benefit from the absent domestic worker notification service.
1. Absent from work can be only reported for workers with valid iqama. Similar : Absher crossess 18 Million users
2. The absence of an active report previously registered through the portal or passport offices regarding the worker's absence from work.
3. There should not be a "waiver" registered on the online portal to transfer services.
4. There should not be a final exit visa issued to the worker.
5. The report should be made only once for each sponsored person.
6. The notification can be canceled by the Expatriate Department. Read : Absher allows issuance of Final Exit visas to Domestic Workers before iqama issuance
The Absher platform stated that the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) must be reviewed after 20 days of receiving the text message to deliver the worker's passport and residence permit.
