Kuwait has discovered 2 new Oil fields, announced the Oil Minister of the Country
The Oil Minister of Kuwait, Mohammad Al Fares announced that Kuwait has discovered two new oil fields in the country, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
As per the report, the first discovery of oil field is in Houma in the northwestern of the country, its production capacity is 1,452 barrels per day of light oil. Similar : Saudi Arabia discovers 4 new oil fields in the Kingdom
- The second oil field is discovered in the AL Qashaniya field in the north of the Kuwait, its commercial quantity is 1,819 barrels per day of light oil and 2.78 million cubic feet of associated gas per day.
- The oil minister also said that conventional oil was also discovered in the north of the big Burgan oil field, its daily production is more than 2,000 barrels, after drilling several wells last year to determine the extent of the field.
- The Kuwait oil minister added that he expects a gradual recovery in oil demand, especially in the mid of this year as several countries around the globe started to distribute covid-19 vaccines. Read : Turkey discovered massive Gold treasure of 99 tons
