Saudi Arabia launches 'Health Passport' in Tawakkalna app, Here are the Details of it
Is Health Passport must for traveling outside Saudi Arabia?
Tawakkalna application approved by the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia clarified that, for now, a health passport is not a condition to travel outside the Kingdom, some countries may impose it in the future, requirements for taking the vaccine.
The Tawakkalna also said, "In the event that there are any developments about its association with travel, it will be announced through the competent authority. This came in response to a beneficiary who inquired, Is this health passport required when traveling and leaving the country?
Benefits of Health Passport of Saudi Arabia :
- The Ministry of Health launched the health passport on Thursday, which is through the Tawakalna application, for those who received the two doses of the Corona vaccine. Trending : Saudi Health Minister received 2nd dose of Corona Vaccine and displays Immunized status on his Health passport
- The health passport service allows users of the Tawakalna app to review the data and history of the Corona vaccine vaccination after the user receives all the necessary doses of the vaccine, on which the health status of him changes to a immunized one.
- The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced the launch of the "Health Passport" service, in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SADAA).
- Al-Rabiah said in a press conference that, “The health passport service will provide services to benefit from all competent authorities to find out who received the Coronavirus vaccine, and thus to be assured of achieving the targets.
Procedure to register in Health Passport of Saudi Arabia :
- Tawakkalna application explained that, in order to see your health passport, first enter into the application, then select the health passport icon from the main menu, after that the health passport appears with the word “fortified” which means that you took doses of the Corona vaccine.
