The court ordered the seizure of the seized money totaling 10 million riyals and the devices used in the crimes in addition to penalizing a fine of 80,000 riyals and deportation of the convicts after serving the prison terms and paying the prescribed penalties.

- The Public Prosecution of the Kingdom said that expatriates, who belonged to various nationalities, were part of a gang who tried to smuggle 10 million Saudi Riyals by hiding them in candy boxes, secret pockets of dresses and a travel bag through the Saudi Arabia's airports. - As per the source, the Economic Crimes Investigation Department has completed its investigations in 4 criminal cases related to smuggling money abroad, and accused the 5 suspects of possessing, transporting and smuggling of illegal sourced funds outside the Kingdom.

- In another case, an expat sentenced to 3 years jail after convicting him of smuggling 6 million riyals out of Saudi Arabia. The court also fined the violator with 20,000 riyals including the seizure of the money and deportation of the man after serving the imprisonment.

- According to the Public Prosecution, the arrested expat was an employee of an express cargo company after he illegally transfer the money outside the Kingdom. He was caught while carrying more than 500,000 riyals in Jeddah, using one of the vehicles of the express cargo service.

- The court also ruled to seize the money that he had previously transferred and smuggled while the proceeding are underway to recover the amount that he smuggled outside the Saudi Arabia.
