Emergency warning notification tests begin Today at Al Shanan - Civil Defense
The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia stated that the trial notice of the early warning platform will be broadcast Today in Al-Shanan Governorate, Hail Region, at 5 pm on Thursday.
The Civil Defense through his Twitter account stated that this comes within the specified geographical scope for the experimental tests carried out by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, on the national platform for early warning in emergencies. - The Civil Defense added that a trial notification will be made through the cellular broadcast service, accompanied by vibration, then a tone and a loud voice, at 5 PM in the evening, indicating no concern, as the messages to test the platform do not require the citizen to take any action about it.
- Last Monday, the General Directorate of Civil Defense, in cooperation with the Communications and Information Technology Commission, started the first phase of conducting experimental tests for the national early warning platform for mobile phones in emergency situations, via cell broadcast messages.
- The first phase includes the governorates of Harimla, Al-Ayyina, Abqaiq, Shannan, Bahra, Al-Qunfudah, Tanuma, and Al-Baha City, and these pilot tests will continue until next Monday. Recommend : Health ministry calls 2 groups to quickly register for Corona virus vaccination
