Jawazat allows registration in Absher for Expat Dependents, Visitors and GCC citizens


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia, earlier this month announced the registration on Absher will be available to all citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Expats dependents and visitors holding visit visas, with the cooperation of National Information Center.



Jawazat said that the expats dependents can register on Absher platform using their iqama number, while visitors on visit visas and GCC citizens can register with border number. Trending : Expats stuck in Dubai on their way to Saudi Arabia, looking for alternate options

- The Directorate of passports explained that all the mentioned can register and activate the Absher account through self service kiosk machines or through the branches of Jawazat or through electronic channels of Saudi banks.

- Jawazat of Saudi Arabia stated that this comes in line with the digital transformation of the services provided by the Passports department to the beneficiaries, allowing them to finish their procedures online.

- Absher will also allow them to access the platforms of other government agencies related to unified national access service using digital iqama issued by the Interior ministry through Absher platform. Recommend : Fine upto 2000 riyals for diving vehicle without driving license
