Kuwait extends ban on Expatriates from entering into the country until Further notice
Kuwait has been decided to extend the ban on expatriates from directly entering into the country until further notice announced the Directorate General of Civil Aviation as per the instruction of Health ministry.
However, Kuwaiti citizens, their close relatives, diplomats, family members, domestic workers and employees of government and medical sectors and their families will be allowed to enter into Kuwait with 7-days mandatory hotel quarantine and 7-days home quarantine. - Earlier, Kuwait has announced to allow the expatriates of 35-high risk countries, after this decision the ban continues on them. The ban on entry of foreigners in the country was imposed on 7th February as part of Corona virus preventive measures.
- In a circular issued to the airlines, The Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated that those passengers still eligible for entry into the Kuwait must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test not older than 72 hours to be allowed to boarding, they must not display any symptoms including a cold or high temperature.
- Once they arrive in Kuwait, they will be subject for a PCR test at the airport and another PCR test on the 6th day of hotel quarantine , the passengers must bear the charges of all the PCR tests. Read : Saudi Arabia launches instant payment service for 24x7
